Emerson's Cafe

Emerson's Cafe meets on Sunday mornings from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Building 2, Room 24/25. Join us for our mid-morning open conversations. Discussions are focused on explorations of heart and sharing from the spirit around a different spiritual and/or theological concept. Topics are chosen each week in advance, keeping vibrant and warm our connections with our growing community. Come journey with fellow seekers and travelers! Members and lay leaders alternate faciliating these conversations, with occasional drop-ins by Rev. Dr. Rebekah Savage. No sign-up necessary. Contact Rev. Dr. Savage for more information.

Small Group Ministry

Join a small group (8-10 people) once or twice a month to explore religious, spiritual, and ethical issues. It's a great way to make new friends on a shared search for meaning and spiritual growth. Each group is led by a team of facilitators trained by Rev. Dr. Rebekah Savage.

Socrates Café Rockville

Fourth Saturdays, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Socrates Café gatherings are held around the world for people to exchange ideas and experiences using the Socratic method; embracing the idea what we learn more when we question with others. At UUCR, the coffeehouse-style atmosphere is open to all, with coffee, tea, and light refreshments available. For details, visit UUCR's Socrates Café webpage or www.philosopher.org.

More Ideas?
